Mountain of Gold is a community-based exhibition that delves into the unique stories and influences of East and Southeast Asian communities in the borderlands, challenging the narratives of an Asian monolith. It highlights the distinct traditions, family stories, neighborhoods, businesses, and community institutions of historic Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Japanese, and Vietnamese communities, while also exploring cultural exchanges along the border.
